Radio station seeks digital reporter.

That's not a mistake.

St. Louis Public Radio is committed to serving our audience with stories that provide a deeper understanding and appreciation of events, ideas and cultures. We are just as committed to providing digital stories to serve that mission as we are radio stories. So, we decided it's time to hire a general assignment reporter whose main focus is telling stories digitally. We are looking for a hard-driving reporter who can get to the heart of a story quickly. The ideal candidate can report and write breaking news with panache and speed while also diving deeply into larger issues to provide context and clarity.

While all reporters in the newsroom are expected to produce stories for both radio and the web, this position is charged with thinking about how we can cover both breaking news and enterprise reporting in a way that serves our digital audience first.
